The Newcomers@Work project focuses on the social inclusion and empowerment of newly arrived young NEETs aged 18-25 with a refugee or migrant background. Its core mission is to strengthen their employability by enhancing their skills, confidence, and readiness for the labour market. The project aims to create safe and respectful learning spaces, offer individualised and learner‑centred training opportunities.
Activities
IANAP supported beneficiaries through targeted employability services, including:
Career guidance to help participants identify strengths and set realistic goals
Creation of Europass CVs tailored to their skills and aspirations
Interview preparation to build confidence and communication skills
First steps into the labour market through personalised support and mentoring

IANAP participated as a partner of CulturePolis in the implementation of the European project InfoReady, under the Erasmus+ programme (Project Number: 2022-1-BE02-KA220-ADU-000090270). The project aimed to strengthen the digital skills of trainers and adult learners by providing innovative educational tools and processes designed to combat misinformation.
Activities
As part of the project, IANAP collaborated with CulturePolis to deliver two training workshops:
An online seminar where five IANAP trainers were trained in the functionalities of the InfoReady platform.
An in‑person workshop during which three IANAP trainers, together with the CulturePolis project manager, trained 20 adult learners in the use of the InfoReady application.
Objectives
IANAP’s involvement in the InfoReady project reinforced our commitment to innovative education and the dissemination of modern digital tools to trainers and learners. It also strengthened our collaboration with civil society organisations and supports the promotion of digital literacy.

Magna Grecia: From Pythagoras to the New Euromediterranean Citizenship
IANAP participated as an implementation partner in Greece in the Magna Grecia project, an initiative designed to connect educational practices between Greece and Italy. The project is carried out in collaboration with EXO, the official Italian partner, and focuses on applying new educational methods across diverse learning environments.
Magna Grecia: From Pythagoras to the New Euromediterranean Citizenship is a local development programme involving eight municipalities in the Basilicata region of Italy. These areas share a strong Greek historical and cultural heritage, as well as a rich rural and productive landscape linked to the Ionian coast.
Activities
Within this collaboration, IANAP actively contributed to the organisation and delivery of two three‑day workshops focused on developing the skills of staff and educators:
The first workshop took place in Thessaloniki at IANAP’s facilities, where our staff and trainers hosted and trained participants from Italy.
The second workshop was held in Potenza, in the Basilicata region of Italy, offering educators and learners the opportunity to exchange knowledge, practices, and experiences.
Objectives
Exploring the cultural ties between Greece and Italy, understanding the concept of the “Other” (migrant, tourist, community member), and promoting sustainable development through culture.

This project focuses on developing the professional skills of IANAP’s staff and expanding the organization’s capacity within the European VET landscape. Its core mission is to enhance language proficiency, digital competencies, soft and transversal skills, and to integrate innovative pedagogical methods and technologies. By learning from leading European VET institutions, the project aims to strengthen organizational readiness, build high‑quality partnerships, and support the internationalization of IANAP.
Activities
IANAP staff will participate in structured mobility experiences designed to enhance their professional expertise and organizational impact. Activities include:
- Peer learning through observation of teaching methods, management culture, and administrative workflows in host institutions
- Adoption of innovative pedagogies such as gamification, microlearning, simulation‑based learning, blended learning
- Exploration of digital learning environments including AI‑driven tools, VR‑based education, interactive applications, and accessible e‑learning platforms
- Networking and collaboration with European VET providers to explore joint research, collaborative projects, and long‑term partnerships
Objectives
The project aims to create strong pathways for organizational growth and staff development. Its objectives include:
- Strengthening organizational capacity and readiness to participate in high‑quality European consortia
- Building expertise in innovative pedagogical methods
- Enhancing digital transformation
- Establishing a European VET network and forming long‑term transnational partnerships
- Improving staff understanding of VET systems and policies in Central and Northern Europe
- Supporting inclusion, employability, and lifelong learning for diverse learner groups
